Second Sunday started up in 2004 but in no way has all the material been recently written. Singer/songwriter Michael Robertson has been writing songs for this project since the late 90’s. In 2003 Michael Started to search for other musicians to share in his passion for original rock music. After searching for quite some time as well as going through some member changes between 2006 and 2008, Michael finally found bassist Timmy 2-Toes Thomas, drummer Ed Mook and lead guitarist Brian Steinberger to secure the progression of the newly developed band. Second Sunday has also gone through many name changes including Element, Severance and Crashbox. After once again finding that the chosen name Crashbox was already registered by a similar rock band out of New York. The name Second Sunday arose and so did the chance for yet another new beginning.

If you know your rock music and have heard any of Second Sunday’s songs, you should already know that the band’s music is influenced by Creed, Nickleback, Fuel, and even a bit of Alice and Chains, just to name a few. The band’s hard driven guitars, melodic bass lines, heart pounding drums, and harmonized vocals are part of an equation that equals the latest installment in the evolution of rock music.
